Stoneheart Valley
Premise
The Stoneheart Valley lies in the Lost Lands, in the shadow of the Stoneheart Mountains. A party of first-level characters is pulled onto the road by a dying wizard’s last request, arrives in the village of Fairhill, and can then choose how far into the valley — and under the mountains — they are willing to go.
Three adventures, compiled as one book:
| Chapter | Levels | The turn |
|---|---|---|
| Chapter 1 - The Wizard’s Amulet | 1st | Corian’s tale, a leucrotta in the dark, Vortigern’s trap |
| Chapter 2 - The Crucible of Freya | ~2nd–3rd | Fairhill, the stolen crucible, the orc-held keep, wilderness lairs A–M |
| Chapter 3 - The Tomb of Abysthor | ~4th–12th+ | Burial halls of Thyr and Muir, then down through Orcus and Tsathogga |
Content gates by party level and by map in the Crucible wilderness and the Tomb. Wizard’s Amulet is linear — do not treat it as a hexcrawl.
Setting
The Lost Lands as the compilation writes them: Fairhill, the village of Crimmor, the ruined keep, the wilderness around the valley, and the Stoneheart Mountain dungeon. Gods in play include Freya, Thyr, Muir, Orcus, Tsathogga, Narrah, and Bowbe. Shared names with The Slumbering Tsar Saga are the same Lost Lands, not a second cosmology.
